Spring cosplay plans

We go to two cons, one in the spring (Sakura-con) and one in the fall (Kumori-con) This year I really want to push myself and get creative, trying new techniques and doing many new cosplays. Last year we learned a lot, had tons of fun even though there was some drama. Cosplay has become our number one hobby, besides gaming. This year I really want to make as many cosplays as I can.

Is my first cosplay and her character sticks to me like glue. I seriously adore her and cosplaying her is such fun. Especially when together with our friend, who cosplays Will of the Abyss. So far our Kumori-con PH group is the best. The people are awesome and really friendly! But this year since we're bring our Will with us I think it'll be just as exciting.  I plan on making another version of her outfit, as well as one for Break for Kumori-con later this year either that or we'll be doing Lacie and Levi. We aren't 100% firm on which will be going to Kumori-con for our....PANEL! Our friend is setting up a panel.And we were invited to be apart of it.

Trinity Blood is one of my favorite mangas! I dream of cosplaying Seth but my sewing skills aren't quite ready for such a big project yet. Caterina is a strong woman who has gone through a lot yet still is able to take charge and protect those who are important to her. I admire her. I'll be cosplaying a young version of Caterina artbook (novel) version. My fiance will be cosplaying Abel, a character that suits him perfectly. I am making these costumes myself. Right now I am making the hoop skirt for Caterina's dress. This will help me make the dress (which will be mainly made out of custom  patterns) Hopefully I can start on the costumes tomorrow when I get more time to learn how to use the sewing machine.

Oh geez. Where do I start? Yuko is one of my all time favorite characters, besides Edward Elric and Seth Nightlord. This was a last minute decision and call me crazy, we put our Tsubasa cosplays for sale two and half months before the con. We weren't feeling the characters anymore and my fiance decided on two choices for their replacement. Black Bulter (Grell and Undertaker) or XxxHolic (Yuko and Wakanuki) and in the end we decided on XxxHolic so we don't have to make props.  

Since we're bring two new cosplays we wont decide on the line-up until there has been details released of Sakura-con photo shoots and schedule which wont be out for a few more months. This Sakura-con should be awesome! I'm very excited and this is only the start of the con season.
