Finally! It looks like a petticoat. It's been taking me a while to get this done (It's not yet) I have to work around my mom's days off so she can teach and help me since I'm new at working with a sewing machine. But it's finally taking on shape.
I have one more tier to sew on which I'm working on now. It's super long but should shrink once I gather it. Which so far is the hardest thing to do. The petticoat should be done tomorrow and should go down to the floor. The bottom will be lined with lace maybe two layers of it, I'm not sure, it depends if I can find lace I like that is cheap enough.
After I finish this I'll finally be starting on Abel's coat. There are two and half months left until the con, which is the biggest of the two cons I go to and this con has just made the ten largest conventions list, you can find that here 7. Sakura-con
When I first started wanting to cosplay Caterina (Trinity Blood) I began the long search for a wig fit for her character. As you can see below, Caterina has very curly hair, long perfect curls that are a soft yellow.
But its hard to find a good curly wig that is full and the right color. When I gave up on most of my cosplay wig sites I went to the site where I buy my lolita wigs and today they posted something that made me so excited!!!!
These are Gothic Lolita Wigs newest wigs that are coming out in about two-three weeks. When they posted them on their FB page my mouth dropped.
The Ringlet Redux is spot on for Caterina! I'm so excited to buy this wig. Not only will it work for Caterina, since its full and curly but in a natural way, but it'll go great with my dream lolita hime outfit.
So now that I have found the perfect wigs for both Caterina and a new one for Sharon I'm super excited. My pre-con madness couldn't get worse. It doesn't help that I'm so close to starting on the Trinity Blood outfits. This con will hopefully be great! I have high hopes that this con will be one of the best so far. This blog hasn't had a make-over in a long time....like never. So I'm going to be changing the layout a bit as well as a new background. Hopefully it'll look a bit better and more happppppy! :D
I loved your petticoat and would admire more if you have posed while wearing it. I also really loved the wigs specially the blonde one and the curls are really adorable.
