Choosing Seth's outfit (Picture heavy)

Oh yes. I have firmly decided once I am comfortable sewing and using patterns on my own that Seth, who is my dream cosplay, will be high up on my to-do list. I believe I'll be making a Pandora Heart cosplays before her so I'm guessing Seth will be for Sakura-con 2014. That may change of course but I'm hoping it will be firm. So that made me think...Seth has a lot of outfits. Which should I chose? I already tossed some out, seeing as the bare too much skin and I'm not comfortable showing that much.

I had to redo this post because of how weird the pictures were being and I could not write besides them. So let's try again and see how this looks. By the way my awesome fiance got me a dress form today (Already posted about it) and the planned Trinity Blood cosplays are going to be made later this week.!

Let the pictures began!

This is normally what cosplayers cosplay of her. It's a bit over done (But I have not seen it at either con I go to) I am in love with the train and the details. I've never see anyone cosplay this outfit WITH the golden "wings" Which of course makes me want to make them.

I like the lighter shade of green used for this piece. Plus it has the golden "wings" again which I badly want to make for some reason even through I know they will be a pain.

The only part I don't like is the sleeves. They aren't attached and those are a bad, they like to slide down.

This outfit is another one of my favorites. I rather like her big hats. I'm also loving her overly large sleeves and the petal like bottom of her skirt. This is one I haven't seen cosplayed so I might just do this one!

Seth's outfit from the Tarot series. So detailed! I really want to do this one but with all those details I may wait and do a simple version before taking this one up.

Another one of my favorites...who am I kidding I love all her outfits! I really like this one because of the details on the hat. Plus having one green eye and one red would be awesome!

The down side is the dress isn't shown. So I would have to guess. This could be a fun project to make though!

Another awesome version of her Empress outfit. It's a bit different from the first one I posted. Her shoes are more based off the ones she was seen wearing in the novel, author's sketches.

Very similar to the one above, but this was Seth's first appearance in the manga. I'm pretty sure it's based off the one shown above. The sleeves seem to be stuffed with more lace and that skirt is to die for. I really like dresses that have long trains in the back such as this style and I think it could be a lot of fun to wear.

Such a cute outfit! I wish Seth wore more of these casual dresses in the manga! This one is suited for winter and all those ruffles! Gosh it's lovely. This one is from the novels.

From the novels?

From what I can see I'm loving this outfit already. Making faerie like wings could be a fun thing to do and you don't see many Seth's cosplaying with her wings these days. This could also be a fun "casual" outfit I could make before working on one of the harder, more detailed ones.

Not too found of her hat though...its very weirdly shaped.

In the end I am still unsure which I will choice. I can say it will be one of these posted above. I suppose as I pick a date and a con for this outfit I'll slowly cut down on ideas until I've chosen just one. Although I'll most likely being cosplaying Seth for a long time afterwards, since she is my one of my top listed favorite characters.

Soon to come:

Top ten favorite characters (Manga/anime)

Differences between manga and anime Trinity Blood version!

Updates on TB sewing project.

So please come back soon and thank you so much for reading.
