Hey guys first off I must say thanks for all the views. We're almost at 1000 already! Not bad. I don't normally care too much about views and all that since this blog is more for fun to share my cosplays and techniques but I'm so honored that people are viewing and reading my posts. Thank you. There will be a lot to come in the next few months so please stick by and keep reading!
Moving on....
Since the patterns have been ordered I'm really not doing too much right now. I normally don't bother drawing and sketching but since I am hand-sewing these costumes on my own I'm going to sketch them out before sewing them just so I have a guide. I'm very excited to start sewing. It'll keep me busy that's for sure. I'm supposed to start working next week (Sunday I think?) so between working and starting to plan a wedding, cosplay will be a fun thing to do to get my mind off stuff.
Luckily for me Abel's coat is pretty basic. So I wont need to really sketch his outfit out. Although I do need to hurry up and figure out how the hell I'm doing his two belts (As picture below) Right now I'm working Caterina's sketch. Since her dress will be made out of two patterns and lots of custom work will be involved I feel a lot better drawing it up rather than just winging it.
Abel's two belts. Going to be a pain in my arse.
I'm really hoping to take my time on these costumes but secretly I want them done quickly so I can start on Lacie and Levi, which my boyfriend has only agreed to do for Sakura-con IF I get both TB costumes done with a reasonable amount of time left to work on Lacie and Levi. We have about four months until the con. I'm really hoping I can get them done too though! I love Lacie's sassy character plus Levi is hot. XD
But that's all for now. I need to go write so I don't get behind.
